Unshielded
CAT 6A Cable
Four sets of pairs are formed by twisting Cat6a unshielded twisted pair cables. Each conductor made of bare copper is insulated and colour-coded. To reduce crosstalk inside the cable, each bundle of Cat6a unshielded wires is wrapped under an overall jacket made of PVC. Each pair of cables also has a separate twist rate. Given that there is no need for shielding or a drain wire, terminating the Cat6a UTP cable is quick and inexpensive.
